I was able to sleep thru the first part of Ike hitting Beaumont. Then I had to go to work. In a 9 story building with no air conditioning. We all sweated so much. Of course, the elevators were not working and my co-worker who smokes made a lot of trips up and down the stairs in order to go outside during the hurricane and smoke.
I check my home all looks good there. No electricity but a freezing cold shower always puts me in a good mood.
God has been so good to me.
